2020 has been full of surprises and I am certain the remainder of the year will not disappoint, but hopefully, in a more positive way. As the year comes to a close, I hope you and your family have many opportunities to enjoy the season and each other.
In most years, Spring brings a flurry of activity to the real estate market. The last few months have already seen strong activity and I predict next year will continue that trend. Whatever it brings, please keep yourself and others safe and wherever you are, I hope joy finds you!

Realtors Help Those in Need
The Realtors Housing Opportunities Fund sprang into action after seeing the pressure COVID-19 was placing on the housing needs of local citizens. With so many out of work due to the pandemic, the need for assistance increased drastically. Read more about how local real estate agents are helping those in need.

Shop Local this Holiday Season
With the holidays almost here, you are probably trying to finish your holiday shopping. While it may be tempting to handle all of your shopping through Amazon or other large retail vendors, consider shopping local this year. Retailers, like many businesses, have struggled this year due to the pandemic and this time of year may allow them to recover. If you aren’t comfortable going out, explore what Essentially Charleston has to offer this season. They offer the best of Charleston in an online setting for your safety and convenience. Local shops also offer safe shopping with personal attention and small crowds so you have the chance to find unique gifts for those on your shopping list.

A Little Entertainment
Every now and then, I like to browse the BadMLSPhotos website for some enjoyment. While I place a high priority on the quality of photos I use when I list houses, all agents don’t follow this same philosophy. If you have a little free time, visit this website for some entertainment and guidance on what you don’t want your home photos to look like when you are ready to sell your home.
